جامعة الاسلامیة مالیزیا هي واحدة من أشهر الجامعات في العالم الإسلامي. تأسست جامعة الاسلامیة مالیزیا عام 1983 وحالیا تعتبر أحدی من أكثرالجامعات شعبية في ماليزيا.
يدرس الطلاب من90 دولة حول العالم فی الدورات الدراسیة المختلفة بالجامعة الإسلامية ماليزيا، من المزايا الهامة للجامعة الإسلامية العالمية ماليزيا هی أنها منذ بداية حياتها المهنية، إستخدمت المنهج التعلیمی الإنجلیزی و یتم تدریس جميع الدروس فی جمیع الدورات الدراسیة في هذه الجامعة باللغة الإنجليزية.
ميزة أخرى للجامعة الإسلامية ماليزيا، هي وجود مساكن الطلبة في الحرم الجامعي بأسعار معقولة.
للجامعة الإسلامية بماليزيا فرعان رئيسيان یقع الفرع الرئیسی للجامعة في شمال شرق بمدينة کوالالمبور فی منطقة جومباک ((Gombak والفرع الثاني للجامعة یقع فی مدینة كونتان تبعد 250 كيلومترا عن مدینة کوالالمبور مسافة تقریبا ثلات الساعات بالسیارة.
یتم تقدیم فروع الطب و الصیدلة و الفئات الفرعیة متعلقة بالطب جمیعها فی الفرع الثانی للجامعة الاسلامیة العالمیة بمالیزیا فی مدینة کلانتان و یتم تقدیم الفروع الأخری فی الفرع الرئیسی للجامعة الاسلامیة بمالیزیا فی مدینتة کولالمبور.
